About Department
The forestry program aims to provide opportunities for students aspiring to become forestry professionals and actively participate in sustainable forest resource management. Our education emphasizes scientific knowledge, field and technical skills, and a sense of environmental stewardship. The coursework integrates fundamental biological principles with core subjects such as forest policy, economics, and management. The curriculum combines interdisciplinary knowledge with a focus on social responsibility towards forest resources, considering evolving social values and economic contexts. Additionally, students are encouraged to enhance their leadership and management skills through summer internships, entrepreneurial development, and other opportunities.
