About Department
The Department of Radiography & Advanced Imaging Technology was established under the Royal School of Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology in 2022, starting with an undergraduate batch. The department has fully-equipped classrooms for Bachelor’s students, featuring projectors, whiteboards, and proper seating arrangements. Looking ahead, the department aims to expand its academic offerings by introducing postgraduate programs. These programs focus on cutting-edge research in radiographic techniques, radiation safety, and emerging imaging technologies. Additionally, the department boasts a state-of-the-art AERB-registered X-ray Radiography laboratory, which consists of sophisticated computerized X-ray unit, protective devices, and a view board for assessing different x-ray films, enabling hands-on practical experience and experiential learning.
Collaboration with clinical experts and healthcare organizations have been set up to enrich the curriculum, offering students practical insights and hands-on experience with the latest advancements in this field. To enhance their learning experience, students are regularly taken on off-campus tours to various educational and clinical organizations. The department also arranges various webinars, seminars, and workshops to provide students with additional knowledge and skills in the field. The department is also committed to fostering a strong research culture. By encouraging faculty and students to engage in interdisciplinary research projects, the department aims to contribute significantly to the body of knowledge in radiography and imaging technology.

Our Lab
17th June, 2023: A state-of-the-art Radiography Lab was inaugurated at The Assam Royal Global University on the 16th of June, 2023, by Dr. A.K. Pansari, Honourable Chancellor of the varsity. Well equipped with the latest technology and machinery, it can conduct tests and offers practical knowledge to Royalites ranging from Postero-anterior and Anterior oblique of the upper limb to Antero-posterior – supine and Antero-posterior – erect of the Abdomen and Pelvic Cavity.
