- Prof. Amlandeep Das has served as the former Head of the Department of English at Cotton University. He also holds the position of President of the Governing Body at K.C. Das Commerce College; Member, Board of Governors, NLU Guwahati; and he was a former member of National Executive, Vidya Bharati Uccha Siksha Sansthan, Noida. Beyond academia, he is the Founder President of the Guwahati International Music Festival and President of the Bob Dylan Society, fostering platforms for artistic collaboration. His editorial and literary pursuits include editing Luitor Pora Thamesoloi, a London-based bilingual cultural magazine, and contributing regularly to The Assam Tribune. He has also represented Assam cricket under 19 team in the C.K. Nayudu trophy as vice-captain at Kanpur and Pune. A multifaceted personality, Prof. Das is also a vocal artist with All India Radio and Doordarshan, a veteran tennis champion, and a regional advisor for WWF (North-East).
