About Department
The Department of Dialysis Therapy Technology is committed to developing highly skilled dialysis professionals equipped to provide safe, ethical, and patient-centred renal care. The department offers state-of-the-art education and hands-on clinical training in hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and the operation and maintenance of advanced dialysis equipment.
With a curriculum aligned to the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) standards,
students gain expertise in renal physiology, infection control, vascular access management, emergency care,
quality assurance, and patient counselling. Through clinical exposure in multi-specialty hospitals and
dialysis centres, graduates are prepared to work as competent Dialysis Technologists, contributing to
multidisciplinary nephrology teams and improving the quality of life of patients with acute and chronic kidney
disease.
The department also promotes research, innovation, professional ethics, and lifelong learning, preparing
graduates to meet the evolving needs of renal healthcare services in India and across the globe.
